Mikie Sherrill supports expanding new energy generation from solar, nuclear, and battery storage projects, aiming to reduce utility costs and carbon emissions. She plans to invest in mass transit to decrease car usage and develop housing plans to prevent sprawl, which could worsen flooding and impact wildlife. She earned a 93% score from the League of Conservation Voters in 2024 and a 97% lifetime score.

She also supported the CHIPS and Science Act to strengthen U.S. capacity in critical sectors and manage U.S.-China competition.
